Senior Program Manager – Technology (Remote, USA)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to own the end to end delivery of complex, cross functional programs for a global high tech company. This role requires strong leadership, stakeholder alignment, and operational excellence to ensure programs are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget, while driving continuous improvement across the program management function.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the full lifecycle of multiple concurrent programs and projects, from planning through execution and post launch review.
• Maintain and administer project tasks, schedules, and project management tools; ensure data integrity across tracking systems.
• Build and publish program status reports, executive dashboards, and milestone trackers for stakeholders and leadership.
• Monitor project activities, performance metrics, and budget burn; proactively identify risks and drive mitigation plans.
• Facilitate cross functional coordination and issue resolution to ensure team alignment to schedules, deliverables, and compliance requirements.
• Compile and analyze project data to support decision making; produce documentation as required.
• Develop and maintain high quality visual artifacts (charts, Gantt charts, roadmaps) to communicate program status.
• Define and enforce program governance standards, intake processes, and reporting frameworks.
• Identify and drive process improvements within the program management practice.

Requirements

• 7+ years of program/project management experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead capacity.
• Proven ability to manage multiple complex programs simultaneously in a fast paced environment.
• Strong project planning and scheduling skills; proficiency with Smartsheet, Jira, Asana, Microsoft Project or equivalent.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, Power BI for reporting and executive presentations.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; comfortable with cost, resource, and performance data.
• Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, or related field required.
• PMP strongly preferred; PgMP, CSM, or SAFe a plus.

Pay

$70-$80/hr

Schedule

12 month contract (possible extensions), 40 hours/week, remote in the USA with preference for candidates in Central or Eastern time zones.
