Senior Program Manager, Trailer Performance, Middle Mile Fleet Management
About the role
Amazon's Middle Mile is looking for a detail-oriented, technically skilled, and innovative Sr. Program Manager to own and manage overall trailer uptime across the Middle Mile fleet. In this role, you will work cross-functionally to drive continuous improvements that keep trailers available and reliable. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience partnering with technical teams, managing stakeholders and customers, and delivering strong results through cost optimization initiatives, pricing agreements with vendors, and spend efficiency across Amazon's Middle Mile Fleet.
This position requires a high degree of autonomy, strategic thinking, and the ability to navigate ambiguous problems while executing methodically. You will thrive in a start-up-like environment, rolling up your sleeves to drive groundbreaking initiatives in transportation and delivery to raise the bar on customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Own and manage overall trailer uptime across the Middle Mile fleet.
- Drive continuous improvements to ensure trailer availability and reliability.
- Develop and execute cost optimization initiatives.
- Manage pricing agreements with vendors and drive spend efficiency.
- Partner with technical teams and manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Communicate complex information clearly and concisely to varied audiences.
- Think strategically while executing methodically to deliver high standards.
Requirements
- 5+ years of program or project management experience.
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
- Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience.
- Master's degree or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design, or a related field.
- Knowledge of general AI tools.
- Experience designing, implementing, and scaling upskilling, apprenticeship, or workforce development programs across large-scale operations or corporate environments, including forecasting workforce needs and leveraging analytics to drive program decisions.

Pay
- USA, AZ, Tempe: $115,600.00 - $160,000.00 USD annually
- USA, TN, Nashville: $104,100.00 - $155,400.00 USD annually
- USA, VA, Arlington: $115,600.00 - $160,000.00 USD annually
- USA, WA, Bellevue: $115,600.00 - $160,000.00 USD annually
Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
