Senior Program Manager, Pricing Strategy, Whole Foods Market

Key job responsibilities

  • Own and evolve the Pricing Strategy program — set multi-year direction, manage team priorities, and deliver end-to-end from analysis through implementation
  • Bridge Pricing Science, Category Pricing, and Category Merchandising — influence leaders on pricing rules, guardrails, and governance
  • Partner cross-functionally with Promotions Analytics, Competitive Intelligence, Product, Tech, Business Strategy, and analytics teams; guide tool development and reporting capabilities
  • Develop pricing frameworks, direct modeling and analytics work, and self-serve data (SQL, R, Python)
  • Coach and develop 2 analysts on analytical approaches, stakeholder management, and business acumen
  • Communicate pricing strategy, findings, and multi-year outlooks to senior leadership through clear, concise narratives
  • Stay current with food, retail, market news, and natural products trends

Basic Qualifications

  • 2+ years of program or project management experience
  • 5+ years of data analysis experience
  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
  • Master's degree, or MBA in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, finance or equivalent quantitative field
  • Knowledge of general AI tools
  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
