The National Advanced Mobility Consortium (NAMC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization comprising over 500 U.S. industry and academic innovators dedicated to developing manned and unmanned autonomy-enabled ground vehicle systems and related technologies for the U.S. Warfighter. NAMC serves as a bridge between the Department of Defense (DoD) and its members, fostering innovations that ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and success for the U.S. military. The Senior Program Manager leads and executes projects that advance ground vehicle and robotics capabilities for the U.S. warfighter. Reporting to the Managing Director, Programs, this role is responsible for the successful execution of projects while meeting or exceeding client expectations and growing new business with the same clients and partners through exemplary performance. This role is also responsible for supporting and leading continuous improvement in relation to project management processes. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIESOversee large-scale defense projects, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and successful delivery.Manage all aspects of program schedules and performance, ensuring teams meet deliverables and customer requirements.Design and deploy project management processes and metrics to track and measure project success.Communicate program status internally and to customers.Approve project-related documents and communications before distribution.Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure program objectives are met.Strengthen and, where needed, develop and maintain standards, processes, and templates for managing projects consistently and efficiently to reduce project-related costs and risks.Support and lead continuous improvement in relation to project management processes.Support the formulation of solutions and solicitation packages for projects with large, diverse scope, constant change in customer requirements, and compressed timelines.Coordinate staff for receiving solicitation packages and moving items to award and support the solicitation process as and where needed.Always act, first and foremost, as an advocate for NAMC with the Government, representing their interests.Adhere to the NAMC brand in all ways when representing the organization.Other duties and special projects as assigned.
