About the role

The Senior Production Supervisor, Wafer Manufacturing is responsible for leading the coordination between manufacturing, maintenance, process and equipment engineering teams to improve production efficiency and quality. This role requires managing a team of 30 to 45 employees and addressing production issues.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain staffing levels needed to meet production schedules
  • Plan and execute training strategies to ensure coverage of assigned operations
  • Monitor production requirements and address any issues
  • Identify and resolve tooling or processing issues
  • Work with engineering groups to address tooling/process issues
  • Ensure employees are hired, promoted, and compensated according to company policies
  • Track employee performance and provide timely coaching
  • Conduct periodic performance reviews and address performance problems
  • Provide coaching and direction to shift operators and leads
  • Implement and promote "Lean" manufacturing concepts

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Data Analysis or Statistics, Chemistry, or Physics
  • Knowledge of semiconductor wafer manufacturing processes and statistical process control systems
  • Experience with MESA or similar shop floor control systems
  • Ability to extract, summarize, interpret, and present process data
  • Experience with SQL or similar query languages
  • Proficiency or experience with VBA, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with project management applications
  • Leadership qualities and problem-solving skills

Qualifications

  • Preferred: Relevant education, certifications, and experience in semiconductor manufacturing
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing Principles, and DMAIC processes
  • Experience with project management applications
  • History of problem-solving and driving issues to resolution
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Pay

The salary range for this role is $84,200.00 - $112,300.00 annually, with the actual salary determined by factors including education, qualifications, performance, and company needs. Overtime pay and shift differentials may apply. Bonuses may be available under the STI Plan or SIP, and RSUs may be awarded under the LTI program.

Schedule

This role is full-time, with a schedule of Thursdays, Saturdays, and alternating Wednesdays from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.
