Senior Product Manager - Tech, AWS Application Protection
About the role
The AWS WAF team is looking for a Senior Product Manager to help build new services and improve existing services for internal and external customers. You will work closely with customers, other Amazon teams, and software engineers to identify opportunities to launch new products and continually improve the AWS WAF service. You will also be responsible for defining customer-focused feature sets, identifying bold bets, diving deep into service metrics, network analytics, pricing and bundling, and being the overall business owner of the product.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver technology solutions that address customer needs.
- Lead executive-level reviews and interact with all levels of the AWS business.
Requirements
- 5+ years of technical product management with internet business experience
- 5+ years of working as a Technical Product Manager experience
- 3+ years of technical (software development, network development, IT, other related) experience
- Experience in taking a product from conception & definition phase through engineering design and taking it to market
- Experience delivering large-scale SaaS, PaaS or LaaS products where you are responsible for the full product lifecycle, from concept through GTM (go to market)

- Excellent analytical capabilities
- Strong writing skills
- Track record of understanding customer needs and delivering technology solutions to address those needs
Skills
- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and live site operations
- Experience working within teams delivering software products and features using agile methodologies

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $152,200.00 - $205,900.00 USD annually.
