Senior Product Manager - Identity and Access Management
About the role
Your primary focus will be to deliver product functionality that empowers customers — and their AI agents — to manage and enforce data access policies across human identities, machine principals, and agentic workloads, through both native and partner solutions.
You will collaborate closely with other product managers, engineering, and go-to-market teams to define the product vision, prioritize features, and guide execution. Success in this role means aligning product strategy with business goals, championing the voice of the customer, and driving customer growth by ensuring the product meets security, compliance, and enterprise-grade access governance requirements — including emerging requirements around AI agent entitlements and non-human principal management.
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience as a Product Manager or Technical Product Manager.
- Experience managing Lakehouse product offerings and their ecosystems (catalogs, permissions, metadata, and access governance frameworks).
- Deep understanding of identity and access management concepts — including RBAC, ABAC, OAuth, OIDC, OPA, and SCIM — and how those apply in distributed data environments, including emerging patterns around AI agent identity, machine-to-machine authentication, and non-human principal access.
- Experience working with or alongside InfoSec, compliance, or security teams to translate enterprise security requirements into product capabilities.
- Proven ability to operate in a highly technical product area where trade-off choices consider engine performance and span multiple product areas.
- Deep understanding of the technical landscape and markets preferred (well versed in databases, data warehousing, data lakes, and familiarity with many of the data infrastructure products in industry).
- Entrepreneurial and self-motivated personality with a track record for delivering results in fast-moving environments.
Skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote and distributed team setting.
- Experience with agile methodologies and product development processes.
- Knowledge of data governance and access control principles.
- Understanding of cloud-native architectures and technologies.
