About the role

This company is looking for a Senior Product Engineer to design, build, and enhance core product features that help solve complex operational challenges for their customers. In this role, you'll have significant autonomy and ownership, working directly with logistics, IT, and operations teams to understand customer needs—often in both Spanish and English. You’ll contribute across the entire stack and play a key role in high-impact projects that support scalable, intelligent logistics solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain key product features using a modern stack (Node.js/TypeScript and Python for data).
  • Lead end-to-end development of business-critical projects across the stack—from frontend to backend to data pipelines.
  • Collaborate directly with customers to understand their workflows and translate complex logistics operations into scalable, automated solutions.
  • Review code and technical designs from other engineers to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Own timelines, communication, and coordination across internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Clearly document solutions for both technical and customer-facing use.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects involving multiple engineers.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a commitment to clear and thorough documentation.
  • Proven ability to work independently and take full ownership of projects from scoping to delivery.

Benefits

  • Nice to Have: Professional fluency in both Spanish and English.
  • Nice to Have: Previous experience in an early-stage startup environment.
  • Nice to Have: Proficiency in TypeScript and/or Python.
  • Nice to Have: Experience in logistics, supply chain, or procurement domains.
  • Nice to Have: Familiarity with document processing, large language models (LLMs), or ETL pipelines.
  • Nice to Have: Flexible work locations within Eastern Time, including offices in NYC and Mexico City.
  • Nice to Have: The opportunity to work on meaningful, customer-facing projects with real-world impact.
  • Nice to Have: A supportive, inclusive team that values diverse perspectives and promotes equitable growth.
  • Nice to Have: Exposure to cutting-edge AI tools, both in the product and your own development workflow.
  • Nice to Have: A strong emphasis on autonomy and trust—engineers here are empowered to make product decisions.
