About the role
QED Environmental Systems, a subsidiary of Graco, Inc., is seeking an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. Located in Dexter, MI, QED is the market-leading provider of environmental technology solutions.
Responsibilities
- Execute engineering tasks for developing new products and driving cost reduction, including conceptual design, detailed drawings, and compliance analysis.
- Manage small product development projects, create and maintain schedules, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project completion.
- Identify new product opportunities by understanding customer needs and evaluating market trends, while proposing innovative solutions.
- Provide product support through troubleshooting, implementing corrective actions, and maintaining technical standards, all while staying current with industry advancements and QED’s evolving product line.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent field.
- 3+ years of experience in new product development with demonstrated repeated success producing innovative and successful products.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent engineering/technical aptitude.
- Accelerators Global industrial manufacturing experience and knowledge.
Qualifications
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
- The role is not eligible for immigration sponsorship now or in the future (e.g., H-1B, TN, F-1 OPT).
Skills

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

$75,000.00 - $131,200.00
