Senior Product Engineer

About the role

Our Senior Product Engineer leads the project team from an engineering perspective through effective prioritization, planning, and execution of all activities associated with the development, industrialization, and continuous improvement of our Engine Cooling Systems. You will focus on developing and implementing cost-effective solutions to technical, performance, quality, and durability problems discovered during the development of new products.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering (required)
• 5–8 years of work experience in Engineering (automotive industry, development of automotive Heat Exchangers or equivalent preferred)
• Knowledge of Heat Exchanger design and validation or equivalent components
• Understanding of thermodynamics theory as it applies to automotive engine cooling applications or other applications
• Understanding of GD&T and knowledge of automotive industry standards
• Product Development and Production Launch experience
• Strong communication skills and desire for global project coordination
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with all levels of the organization
• Experience with MAHLE products and NAFTA plants (preferred)
