Senior Product Designer, Engagement

Responsibilities

• Create wire-frames, beautiful mockups, amazing prototypes, and help implement your designs to pixel perfection.
• Manage your own timelines/deliverables and exercise solid judgment in your own priorities.
• Collaborate with designers across organizations in sprints to ensure scalable and consistent user experiences.
• Proactively present and communicate your designs to organizational leadership, your immediate team and your design peers to garner feedback and build consensus around your concepts.
• Test, learn, and iterate on everything you do alongside product peers.
• Meaningfully use, maintain and routinely contribute components towards our Design System library.

Requirements

You should have:

• 5+ years of experience designing modern consumer-focused products, and have been the design lead of multiple product teams.
• A working understanding and curiosity of AI-assisted design workflows — from ideation and prototyping to generative UI — and the design judgment to know when AI output needs a human hand before it ships.
• A portfolio of work on which you were the primary designer contributing to projects for at least both desktop and mobile.
• Frequent personal use of Discord, with preference towards those with direct use of the gaming space/experience.
• Ownership mindset with a bias towards action, helping to drive projects and decisions forward.
• Maintain a low ego with a focus on progress and growth.
• Experience working with a design system/library.

Qualifications

You should have:

• Proficiency using Figma and some high-fidelity prototyping tool (ex: Protopie, Framer, Origami, etc).
• A high level of skill at crafting high quality visual designs and have an eye for creating delight in every product experience.

Skills

You should have:

• A portfolio of work on which you were the primary designer contributing to projects for at least both desktop and mobile.
• Frequent personal use of Discord, with preference towards those with direct use of the gaming space/experience.
• Ownership mindset with a bias towards action, helping to drive projects and decisions forward.
• Maintain a low ego with a focus on progress and growth.
• Experience working with a design system/library.

Pay

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $188,000 to $211,500 + equity + benefits.

Schedule

This position will be located in the San Francisco Bay Area (Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano, and Sonoma Counties), or be willing to relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area.
