What We Do
We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer who can shape how internal communicators experience Workshop — and help define what it looks like when great design meets AI.
Who We Are
Workshop is a fast-growing, venture-backed startup based in Omaha, Nebraska and we’re on a mission to create more happy Mondays for employees everywhere. We build software to help internal communications teams create, send, and measure multi-channel, employee-centric campaigns.
Responsibilities
- Own design projects end-to-end — from early discovery and fuzzy problem framing through final delivery and iteration
- Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and cross-functional stakeholders to solve real, meaningful problems — not just make things look good
- Apply AI to your own workflow and to the products you’re designing, and help the rest of the design team do the same
- Mentor and support other designers, giving them honest feedback, modeling good process, and helping them grow their confidence and craft
- Hold both the detail and the system at once — sweating the UI while also thinking about patterns, consistency, and product strategy
- Contribute to a design culture worth being part of: thoughtful critiques, useful documentation, and a bias toward learning out loud
Requirements
- 4+ years of product design experience, with meaningful time in a senior or lead capacity
- Show your work — a portfolio that demonstrates clear thinking, strong taste, and impact that you can actually speak to
- Genuinely curious about AI: experimenting with it, learning from it, and helping others do the same — not just nodding along to the trend
- Move fluidly between detailed UI craft and higher-level product and systems thinking without losing the thread
- Communicate clearly and collaborate openly — you know how to work with engineers and PMs in a way that feels like partnership, not handoff
Qualifications
- Bonus points if you:
- Have worked at a startup or agency and know what it means to ship in a fast, resource-constrained environment
- Have experience with AI products or B2B SaaS
- Have opinions about where AI is taking design — and can back them up with something more than vibes
- Have helped non-designers understand and use design systems, AI tools, or new workflows
