About the role

Coordinates the cleaning, decontamination, assembly, and dispensing of surgical instruments for daily surgical procedures in accordance with hospital and department standards of practice and policies.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the cleaning, decontamination, assembly, and dispensing of surgical instruments for daily surgical procedures in accordance with hospital and department standards of practice and policies.
• Ensures all instruments are properly sterilized and ready for use.
• Works closely with surgical teams to ensure timely delivery of instruments.
• Maintains a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements

• Tech/Trade Certification
• High School Diploma or GED
• Specialization in Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician
• Two years of relevant experience
• Certified Registered Central Service Technician
• Certified Central Sterile Tech International Association of Healthcare Central Service Mate
• Certified Surgical Instrument Specialist

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a background check
• Must be able to pass a drug screen
