About the role
This role leads the strategic direction and delivery of large-scale, highly complex initiatives that span multiple systems, teams, and functional areas. It serves as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, shaping program vision, aligning business and technology priorities, and ensuring execution delivers measurable organizational impact.
Responsibilities
- Owns the end-to-end delivery of enterprise-wide programs or portfolios, ensuring alignment to organizational priorities, long-term strategy, and business outcomes
- Defines program vision, structure, and approach for complex, cross-functional initiatives involving multiple interdependent workstreams
- Partners with senior leaders to translate business objectives into scalable program strategies, technical plans, and execution roadmaps
- Leads resolution of complex, ambiguous challenges by applying advanced problem-solving and considering tradeoffs across systems, stakeholders, and priorities
- Establishes governance frameworks, operating models, and decision-making structures to drive alignment, accountability, and transparency
- Influences organizational direction by providing thought leadership on program strategy, execution approaches, and continuous improvement opportunities
- Serves as a primary liaison between business and technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment of requirements, priorities, and delivery expectations
- Drives proactive risk identification and mitigation strategies across programs, balancing scope, timeline, cost, and quality considerations
- Oversees program performance by defining success metrics, evaluating outcomes, and recommending adjustments to optimize results
- Provides guidance and mentorship to project and program managers, setting standards for execution excellence and capability development
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned or requested
- Complies with regulatory compliance and assigned training requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a field relevant to the role (or 4 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree)
- 12+ years of relevant experience
- Deep expertise in leading large-scale, complex programs with significant cross-functional and organizational impact
- Broad understanding of technical and business domains, with the ability to connect strategies across disciplines
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior leadership and guide decision-making on critical initiatives
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience navigating ambiguity and competing priorities
- Strong executive communication skills, including the ability to distill complex concepts into clear, actionable insights
- Proven ability to operate independently while shaping direction, priorities, and outcomes at an organizational level
- Experience establishing program governance, financial oversight, and resource planning at scale
- Ability to mentor and elevate others, fostering consistent practices and high standards across project and program management
Location
Full Time Remote, but employee MUST reside in one of the following states: Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Massachusetts, Minnesota, North Carolina, Nevada, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah, or Washington.
Pay
Target Compensation Range: $164,000 - $197,000 annually + annual bonus
Target Compensation Range (CA only): $180,400 - $216,700 annually + annual bonus
