About the role

Intuit’s Corporate Strategy and Development (CS&D) team defines and accelerates the company’s top strategic priorities. The team advises senior leaders, the executive team, and the Board of Directors on corporate and business-line strategy, driving growth through high-impact projects. As a Senior Principal, you’ll lead teams to identify and realize new growth opportunities, conduct rigorous analysis, and present strategic recommendations to the C-suite, CEO, and Board. This role offers significant exposure to senior leadership and opportunities for career progression within CS&D or across Intuit.

Responsibilities

  • Structure projects and develop work plans to deliver high-priority strategic initiatives, primarily focused on growth.
  • Provide thought leadership and set the intellectual agenda for the team.
  • Lead inclusive problem-solving sessions to guide the team toward actionable insights.
  • Drive cross-functional strategy and business unit teams in executing data-driven research and analysis to support growth strategies.
  • Author and deliver presentations, plans, and communications grounded in data and insights.
  • Present strategic analyses and findings to C-level executives and business unit leaders.
  • Build relationships with mid-level and senior business unit leaders and stay current with their strategic plans.
  • Monitor and analyze the competitive landscape.
  • Coach and mentor junior team members to develop their strategic and analytical skills.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of total work experience with a top-tier strategy consulting firm or a respected operating company’s strategy function (MBA preferred).
  • Proven people leader with 3+ years of experience leading teams on high-profile strategic efforts.
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively at all levels.
  • Outstanding ability to analyze problems and apply quantitative and analytical approaches.
  • Ability to synthesize information quickly and structure clear, concise presentations for executive audiences.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Experience managing relationships with high-profile stakeholders in complex, cross-functional projects.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Passion for excellence and a desire to drive significant impact.
  • Openness to an environment of active developmental feedback.

Schedule

The team operates in a hybrid model, with 2-3 days per week in the Mountain View office.

Pay

Intuit offers a competitive compensation package, including base pay, cash bonuses, equity rewards, and benefits. Pay is determined by job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. The expected base pay range for this position in Mountain View is $227,000 - $307,000.
