Principal, Strategy & Corporate Development
About the role
The Corporate Strategy team drives the company’s medium- and long-term strategic plan, due diligence on strategic acquisitions, and high-impact strategic projects. As part of the Chief Strategy Officer’s organization—which also includes Corporate Development/M&A, Market & Competitive Intelligence, Partnerships, Technology Innovation, and Government Affairs—you will:
- Define the company’s overall medium/long-term ambitions and strategy through the annual corporate strategic planning process, including analysis of the industry landscape and trends, competitive dynamics, assessment of the company’s business portfolio, and identification of business performance improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with the Corporate Development team in defining proactive, strategy-driven M&A plans and strategic partnerships; drive due diligence on strategic acquisitions and support cross-functional integration planning.
- Lead C-suite-level projects to address specific strategic questions, issues, or opportunities across businesses and functions, owning the end-to-end work process: framing the question, structuring an approach, developing hypotheses, conducting analyses, and articulating actionable recommendations.
- Partner with business units to develop their respective business strategies, identifying priority initiatives and investments across product/engineering, go-to-market, and operations.
- Work cross-functionally to drive the operationalization of critical cross-unit strategic initiatives from setup to impact, establishing strategic KPIs and a program management structure.
- Support the CEO, CSO, and other senior executives on strategy-related communications.
Qualifications
- Experience in management consulting; investment experience (e.g., private equity, investment fund, investment banking) is valued but not required.
- Strong Excel modeling skills; due diligence and financial modeling experience (e.g., P&L, market model, business case) is highly valued.
- Knowledge of the semiconductor or software industry is valued but not required.
- MBA degree is valued but not required.
- Growth mindset, eager to be stretched and learn.

- Motivated to be part of a small, highly dynamic team working on C-suite-level topics in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to generate insights and articulate an independent, data-backed point of view.

Schedule
This role is based in Sunnyvale, California (Bay Area headquarters) and requires 5 days per week of in-person presence.
