About the Team

The Corporate Development team plays a pivotal role in driving acquisitions of Home Instead franchises for HQ to accelerate innovation and growth. This team sits at the intersection of strategy, deal execution, and human impact. Every transaction balances financial rigor with deep operational insight.
Responsibilities
- Assess territories available for sale for attractiveness to Honor, taking into account growth potential and operational considerations, and prioritize transactions.
- Develop territory valuation, in collaboration with Finance and Operational teams, that informs bidding strategy.
- Develop negotiation strategy, deal terms, and LOI for transactions.
- Over the medium term, develop a desired transaction roadmap and identify territories/regions to focus on for future acquisitions to shape the network strategy.
- Lead end-to-end franchise acquisition processes—from indication of interest to transaction close.
- Lead a thorough cross-functional due diligence process and vet target territories with input from key stakeholder teams such as Finance, Operations, and Legal.
- Develop and enhance the transaction playbook for executing deals, improving speed and ROI/likelihood of success post-close.
- Execute each transaction end-to-end with excellence, bringing key stakeholder teams along every step of the journey.
- Track, analyze, and present KPIs across acquired territories.
- Identify key gaps and opportunities relative to the deal thesis and develop action plans in concert with finance and operating teams.
- Deliver sharp, actionable insights to executive leadership that drive data-informed decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 5–7 years experience in management consulting, corporate development, small business M&A, mid-market private equity, or corporate strategy roles.
- Strong track record of leading cross-functional projects with diverse stakeholder organizations (Operations, Legal, Finance) and delivering impact.
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage deal models and assess valuations.
- Proven success driving transactions with banks, private equity, or other institutional investors (preferred).
- Experience in franchise M&A is a plus but not required.
- Familiarity with advanced AI-based tools (e.g., Claude Cowork) is a plus.

Pay
Hiring salary range: $178,200—$198,000 USD. Individual pay is based on qualifications, skills, experience, education, and training. Honor is a remote-first company and uses national averages to determine pay ranges.
