Senior Principal Architecture - Data Management

Job Responsibilities

• Advises and leads on architecture strategy of multiple products, applications, and technologies across a portfolio
• Translates highly complex technical issues, trends, and approaches to leadership to drive the firm's innovation and enable leaders to make strategic, well-informed decisions about target state architecture
• Drives adoption and implementation of technical methods in specialized fields in line with the latest product development methodologies
• Establishes and leads an architecture governance body
• Creates durable, reusable software frameworks that improves velocity and quality of output across teams and functions
• Promotes reuse-first adoption of enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to accelerate architecture analysis, option evaluation, and delivery of strategic global solutions, with human-in-the-loop validation and appropriate handling of sensitive data
• Evaluates emerging capabilities for enterprise fit and adoption readiness
• Establishes portfolio-level guardrails for AI-assisted and agentic workflows used in architecture and engineering governance, including traceability/auditability and control expectations aligned to resiliency and security standards
• Champions the firm's culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

• Obtain 7 plus years of applied experience and formal training or certification on Architecture concepts
• Practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
• Expertise in one or more architecture disciplines
• Demonstrated prior experience influencing across functions and teams to deliver modern architecture
• Experience applying expertise and new methods to determine solutions for complex architecture problems across various technical disciplines
• Extensive practical cloud native experience
• Deep expertise across Infrastructure Architecture areas, including IT Service Management, Monitoring and Observability, Cloud Compute and Storage, Application Integration, and IT Asset Management, Network and Systems Administration
• Strong understanding of hybrid and multi-cloud operational models, including resilience, identity, secrets, networking, and secure operations
• Advanced certifications in cloud, enterprise architecture, ITSM, SRE, or security disciplines
• Demonstrated experience leading safe adoption of enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment across architecture workflows, including validation practices and awareness of data sensitivity
