Senior Principal Data Architect

For our client, a leader in the Business Services space, we are seeking a Senior Principal Data Architect to join their team. This role will lead technical work focused on cloud-enabled scalability, reliability, and delivery excellence. You will partner with business, technical, and operational stakeholders to build reporting, surface trends, and translate analysis into action, strengthening data-driven execution and helping teams focus on the metrics that matter most.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain enterprise data architecture strategy
• Design scalable data models and integration patterns in AWS and Databricks
• Establish data governance frameworks to ensure compliance
• Communicate data architecture strategies to stakeholders effectively
• Evaluate and recommend data technologies, focusing on AWS-native services
• Lead data architecture in large-scale projects and digital transformations

Qualifications

• 10+ years in data engineering or architecture
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for efficient code translation
• Hands-on experience with Databricks Workflows and AWS Glue
• Knowledge of data mining and segmentation techniques
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills

Pay

$170,000 – $180,000 annually
