Responsibilities
- Aid Relationship Managers with new account opening by collecting required documents from clients and addressing their questions.
- Support Relationship Managers by preparing documents, conducting research, and following up with clients via email and other correspondence.
- Coordinate with Centralized Relationship Services (CRS) for commercial account maintenance, including fund transfers, auto-payment setup, stop payments, cashier check requests, and resolving account issues.
- Provide superior client service by taking ownership of client needs, problems, and requests, ensuring timely and accurate resolutions.
- Assist in deposit account servicing, completing necessary forms, verifying account openings, and managing NSF/OD, At-Risk accounts, and fee waiver/exception/refund requests.
- Participate in deposit acquisition by understanding and recommending business deposit products, working closely with Relationship Managers.
- Support loan origination and problem loan management by delivering timely and accurate information to the Funding Department and Loan Services, reviewing past due reports, and monitoring payment postings.
- Collaborate with Relationship Managers and Portfolio Managers in portfolio management, preparing and processing deposit and business loan transactions, and maintaining accuracy and client satisfaction.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with three years of customer service experience, or Associate’s degree in related field with two years of customer service experience.
- Minimum five years of banking experience, specifically in account opening for business entities and customer service.
- Basic knowledge of banking regulations such as BSA, CIP, OFAC, and familiarity with new account opening processes and commercial account structures.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience in internal and external client interactions.
- Excellent customer service contact handling skills, capable of managing high-volume inquiries efficiently.
- Strong organizational skills and proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office.
- Demonstrated math aptitude and understanding of general accounting and financial concepts.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
Pay
The base pay range for this position is USD $20.00/Hr. - USD $27.00/Hr., with exact offers determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
