Primary Responsibilities
- Manage accounting activities related to monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles
- Analyze portfolio and property-level financial results to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Prepare account reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting schedules
- Support investment transactions, capital activity, and cash movement processes
- Afford audit, tax, and investor reporting requirements
- Produce financial and operational reporting for management and external stakeholders
- Monitor portfolio performance and provide meaningful financial insights
- Improve accounting workflows, controls, and reporting processes
- Participate in cross-functional projects and operational initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 4+ years of accounting experience, preferably within real estate, investments, or asset management
- CPA designation or progress toward certification is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting and accounting standards
- Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work across multiple teams
