About the role
Senior Phlebotomist responsible for specimen collection, waived and moderate testing, and EKGs.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and process specimens
- Troubleshoot issues related to specimen collection and testing
- Conduct EKGs
- Maintain accurate records
- Ensure high-quality patient care and promote a positive patient experience
- Follow safety and compliance standards
- Support operational efficiency using Lean principles
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- State-certified MA-Pbt
- Phlebotomy certification
- BLS certification (or willing to obtain)
- At least 1 year of experience
- Proficient computer skills
- Ability to travel within satellite locations
Preferred Skills
- 2+ years of blood draw experience
- Knowledge of laboratory systems
- Proficiency with EKGs
- Strong organizational skills
- Familiarity with safety protocols
