About the role

As a Float Phlebotomist, you will travel to various sites in Claremore, OK, and surrounding cities, gaining diverse experience while working with different patients, team members, and clinics. This role provides variety, skill development, and opportunities for growth within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
  • Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other specialized tests
  • Perform accurate and timely data entry of patient information
  • Process billing information and collect payments when required
  • Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
  • Maintain patient and specimen information logs
  • Provide superior customer service to all patients
  • Handle administrative and clerical duties as necessary
  • Travel to additional sites when needed

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of experience as a phlebotomist or a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency
  • Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record with reliable transportation
  • At least 21 years old
  • Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment
  • Comfortable working under minimal supervision
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed
  • Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

Preferred Qualifications

  • Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ years of experience as a phlebotomist

Float Incentive: Additional $1.00/hour plus mileage reimbursement.

Schedule

Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (hours may vary).
