Key Responsibilities
- Maintains and repairs fuel dispensers, submersible fuel pumps, site controllers, credit card readers.
- Diagnose equipment problems, using judgement to determine how to repair or replace tank & line monitoring equipment.
- Repair and maintain other types of equipment found in Casey’s convenience stores.
- Repair and maintain equipment and building electrical wiring, and fuel devices.
- Use instruments to test and evaluate performance of equipment; repair or replace defective valves, electrical boards, and other parts.
- Understand and comply with applicable fire safety, OSHA and EPA rules and regulations. Work in a safe manner.
- Perform break fix and preventative maintenance on service station electronics, computers, and the fuel dispensing systems, including electronic, plumbing, and mechanical work.
- Provide quality customer service that exceeds customer expectation by ensuring that all assigned duties are completed in a cost-effective manner.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in service technician or related role.
- Certified to work on petroleum equipment, or ability to obtain certifications within 3 months of hire date.
- Knowledge of tools and equipment used in building and mechanical trades work.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills. Ability to interpret blueprints, sketches, and verbal & written instruction.
- Must have ability to respond and adjust to changing or new situations. Work well in high stress environments and maintain professionalism.
- Familiarity with computer operations and an aptitude for learning computer skills.

Pay
Compensation Starting hiring range: $27.80 - $36.50. Actual pay may vary based on Casey’s assessment of the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, and qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include local prevailing wages and internal equity. This position is eligible for an annual cash bonus based on company performance.
Schedule
Monday-Friday and be home every day.
