Key Responsibilities

  • Lead engineering design and technical execution for upstream surface facilities including central tank batteries, wellsite equipment, compression, dehydration, vapor recovery units (VRUs), measurement skids, pipelines and saltwater disposal systems.
  • Develop process flow diagrams, P&IDs, equipment datasheets, material takeoffs, cost estimates and construction support documentation for facilities projects.
  • Perform process modeling and simulation using HYSYS, ProMax and Pipeflow to size equipment, validate operating cases and optimize production and utility systems.
  • Ensure designs meet applicable industry codes and standards (ASME, API, NFPA) and client, safety and environmental requirements.
  • Manage vendor evaluation and equipment selection for pressure vessels, tanks, separators, pumps, compressors, heaters and other rotating equipment.
  • Prepare technical reports, basis of design documents, and safety reviews (HAZOP, LOPA input) to support project approvals and risk mitigation.
  • Support commissioning, start-up and troubleshooting activities in the field; provide technical guidance during construction and operational handover.
  • Cook up coordination with cross-functional teams including subsurface, production, pipeline, measurement and regulatory groups to align facilities design with operational objectives.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide engineering oversight, QA/QC of deliverables and continual improvement of engineering standards and tools.
