Senior Performance Marketing Specialist – Search

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Build, launch, and manage Google Ads campaigns across Search, Shopping, and Performance Max for a portfolio of ecommerce clients.
  • Own product feeds in Google Merchant Center — monitor disapprovals, write and maintain feed rules, and optimize titles and attributes for Shopping and PMax.
  • Diagnose and fix feed and disapproval issues using a feed-management platform (e.g. DataFeedWatch, Feedonomics).
  • Run ongoing optimizations: search-term mining, bid and budget adjustments, structure refinements, and A/B tests on copy and landing pages.
  • Troubleshoot in-platform performance issues — feed disapprovals, tracking gaps, wasted spend — and resolve them.
  • Present performance and recommendations directly to clients.
  • Stay current on platform changes and put new features and automation to work in the accounts.
  • Share what's working with the rest of the paid search team.

    Job Requirements

    • 5+ years of hands-on, in-platform Google Ads experience managing ecommerce accounts, including hands-on Shopping and Performance Max (agency / multi-client experience strongly preferred).
    • You're still building and optimizing campaigns yourself today — this is more of a doing role than an overseeing role.
    • Deep, current Shopping and Performance Max experience on real product catalogs.
    • Background with Google Merchant Center, product feeds, and feed management (DataFeedWatch, Feedonomics, or similar).
    • Strong working knowledge of GA4, conversion tracking, and Google Ads Editor.
    • Comfortable managing several accounts and budgets at the same time.
    • Able to present performance clearly and confidently to clients.
    • Strong Excel / Google Sheets and analytical skills.
    • Bonus: Microsoft Ads, YouTube Ads, BigQuery, Google Ads Scripts, or experience with large-catalog / multi-brand retail.

    Company Requirements

    • Dedicated workspace free from distractions.
    • High-speed internet for meetings and campaign management (internet stipend provided).
    • Full-time availability (40 hrs/week) with presence during CST business hours (9:30 AM–4 PM).
    • Self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
