About the Opportunity

The Sr. Manager, People Systems leads the People Systems team to oversee and maintain key HR-related technology platforms, including Workday and Greenhouse. This role drives the HRIS strategy and supports organizational needs through system enhancements and collaboration across departments. It is critical for ensuring the integrity and effectiveness of people systems and enabling data-driven HR functions.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in leadership meetings to communicate project timelines and dependencies
  • Provide technical and functional leadership for Workday and related systems enhancements
  • Collaborate with People Team, Finance, IT, and stakeholders to gather and translate system requirements
  • Configure, test, validate, and implement Workday changes ensuring platform integrity
  • Document system procedures and develop user guides
  • Manage and develop a team of analysts aligning objectives to company strategy
  • Implement HRIS best practices and identify automation opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with ITGCs and business process controls within People Systems

Requirements

  • Over 6 years of Workday HCM configuration experience including business processes, security, and administration
  • More than 3 years of experience leading an HRIS team
  • Expertise in at least three additional Workday functional areas such as Compensation, Benefits, Absence, Talent, Time Tracking, or Payroll
  • Mastery in report writing, calculated fields, and EIBs
  • Ability to manage priorities, solve problems independently, and communicate complex processes clearly
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Project management skills to lead system implementations and enhancements
  • Ability to evaluate vendors and products for organizational ROI, including GenAI technologies
  • Preference for candidates in EST timezone, with openness to CST

Pay Range and Compensation Package

US national base pay range: $152,000 to $190,000 USD
Final compensation is based on factors including location, experience, education, and internal equity
Eligible roles may receive variable compensation through incentive programs
