About the Role
The Senior People Operations Associate role focuses on enhancing the employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle. This position supports human resources operations by optimizing onboarding, employee engagement, leave administration, benefits, and compliance. The role contributes to the organization's growth by ensuring efficient, scalable, and employee-centered People programs and operations.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and improve the onboarding process to provide a consistent and welcoming experience.
- Manage employee lifecycle events such as promotions, transfers, and departures with accurate documentation.
- Identify and implement process improvements for employee lifecycle workflows.
- Support company-wide People programs including surveys, learning initiatives, and recognition.
- Develop program materials, communications, and documentation.
- Collect and analyze employee feedback and program data.
- Serve as a primary contact for employee inquiries related to policies, benefits, and HR processes.
- Facilitate leaves of absence and accommodations, coordinating with relevant stakeholders.
- Assist with benefits administration and employee questions.
- Conduct audits of employee data and People processes for compliance and accuracy.
- Recommend improvements to reduce manual work and enhance employee experience.
- Support cross-functional People projects and contribute to the evolution of People Operations.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of experience in People Operations, Human Resources, or related field.
- Broad knowledge of employee lifecycle and core HR practices.
- Experience managing onboarding, leaves, benefits, or similar employee programs.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly explain complex processes.
- Good judgment and ability to escalate issues appropriately.
- High attention to detail and discretion with confidential information.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Collaborative approach with relationship-building skills.
- Preferred: Experience with HRIS systems (Rippling) and other HR platforms.
Pay
- Tier 2 (Chicago, Austin, Denver, Boston, Washington DC, San Diego, Portland, Sacramento, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, Santa Barbara): $47.50 - $52.50 per hour
- Tier 3 (All other US metro areas): $44.76 - $49.47 per hour
Compensation will be determined by skills, experience, and geographic location.
