Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain complex SQL queries and ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data pipelines and analytics solutions.
• Perform data profiling, validation, and cleansing to ensure data quality and integrity.
• Utilize machine learning models to derive insights and inform business decisions.
• Optimize database performance through indexing, query optimization, and other techniques.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering and AI.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in SQL and ETL tools such as Apache Airflow, Apache NiFi, or similar.
• Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and data governance principles.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and database management systems.
• Experience with Python, R, or other programming languages relevant to data science and machine learning.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases and distributed systems.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
