Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain complex SQL queries and ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data pipelines and analytics solutions.
- Perform data profiling, validation, and cleansing to ensure data quality and integrity.
- Utilize machine learning models to derive insights and inform business decisions.
- Optimize database performance through indexing, query optimization, and other techniques.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering and AI.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in SQL and ETL tools such as Apache Airflow, Apache NiFi, or similar.
- Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and data governance principles.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and database management systems.
- Experience with Python, R, or other programming languages relevant to data science and machine learning.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Qualifications
- Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases and distributed systems.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
- Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
