Senior Paid Search Specialist
About the role
We're seeking a knowledgeable, Senior Paid Search Specialist with a minimum of 4-5 years experience with direct hands-on management and optimization of Google Ads campaigns. This role involves managing key client campaigns across the Google Ads ecosystem, including Search, Shopping, Performance Max, YouTubeTV, Demand Gen, etc. You'll be responsible for driving campaigns forward from both a strategic and hands-on optimization perspective.
Responsibilities
- Learn: Understand P1's unique approach to paid search strategy, optimization, and measurement, become fluent in our naming conventions and the APEX Intelligence reporting platform.
- Manage & Optimize Campaigns: Takeover ongoing day-to-day management of existing campaigns, build and launch new campaigns, and optimize across campaigns to drive the best possible results.
- Budget Pacing & Optimization: Proactively adjust allocated budgets across multiple campaigns aligning with the client's monthly goals.
- Monitor Performance: Utilize in-house and external reporting systems to proactively flag any performance issues or opportunities within campaigns. Provide recommendations on how to address these issues and opportunities.
- Report on Outcomes: Utilize our in-house report-builder to contribute to delivering end-of-month performance reports to assigned clients.
- Collaborate: Actively participate in collaborative calls with your Manager, Senior Leadership, and Clients. Taking detailed notes and implementing feedback and changes as directed.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 4+ years of demonstrable hands-on experience and expertise directly managing and optimizing Google Ads campaigns.
- Direct experience supporting multiple DTC ecommerce clients simultaneously.
- Fluency in Google Ads Editor.
- Strong working knowledge of Google Merchant Center and product feed management best practices.
- Naturally curious with strong analytics skills that promote the ability to measure success of media efforts and identify learnings to enable further success.
- Detail oriented with a proven track record of effectively managing multiple responsibilities while ensuring delivery of on-time and error-free work.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Personally aligned with and live out our core values in your day-to-day life.
- Based in the U.S. and available to work a minimum of 40-hours per week.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and distraction-free personal workspace.
- Prior agency experience (preferred).
- Proficient in Excel and data visualization tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, Google Looker, and other relevant reporting tools and platforms.
- At least 2-3 years working in a client-facing role.
- A.B. in Marketing, Advertising, or similar relevant field is ideal.

Compensation
We offer a competitive starting salary range between $80,000 and $95,000 annually, with the opportunity to grow. We also offer 100% employer-funded insurance for our employees.
Where you'd work
Our remote-first agency allows each individual a higher level of flexibility to balance both professional and personal pursuits. Candidates residing in California, Oregon, Washington D.C., or Minnesota are strongly preferred.
