Senior Oracle Database Engineer

About the role

Ampcus Inc. is seeking a Senior Oracle Database Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Oracle Exadata platform, strong Oracle database administration skills, and expertise in Oracle client/application-side support.

Responsibilities

• Support large-scale database migrations and ongoing production operations using Oracle Exadata (on-prem or OCI / Database@Azure).
• Execute and support Oracle database migrations from VM-based or traditional environments to Exadata, including cutover planning and validation.
• Work with application teams to validate connectivity, performance, and functionality during and after Exadata migrations, including troubleshooting issues at the app/DB boundary.
• Support production migrations, coordinate change windows, handle escalations, and collaborate across DBA, infrastructure, and application teams.
• Participate in monitoring, logging, and validation activities in enterprise environments, such as performance baselining and post-migration checks.
