Responsibilities
- Leading with a focus on safety, continuous improvement, relationship building, communication and strategic thinking
- Fostering a “safety first” culture through awareness, training and accountability
- Guiding operational leaders to achieve established standards of service, quality, accuracy and productivity
- Leveraging key metrics, Lean Six Sigma, GEMBA walks and other activities to understand what’s working well and where to improve
- Enabling teams to do their best work in an environment of innovation, calculated risk, testing and learning
- Motivating and inspiring teams and individuals through clear understanding of goals and expectations, mutual accountability and regular constructive feedback
- Sets individual and team priorities and proactively structures resources to meet them
- Communicates the big picture openly and articulately
Requirements
- Four year degree, preferably in the areas of Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, Technology, Operations, or related business, or a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the manufacturing, production, or distribution environment and applicable management/supervisory experience
- Experience with performance metrics and process improvement
- Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to handle changing priorities and use of good judgement in stressful situations
- Ability to motivate others with strong conflict management and problem solving skills
- Experience with the full staffing lifecycle, including interviewing, hiring, performance management, promotions and termination
- Able to work a variety of hours as business demands including overnight, weekends and holidays
- Able to access all areas of the DC, including mezzanine platforms
- Able to read and interpret necessary policies and procedures to perform updates and operate systems and other programs within the Distribution Center
- Strong inclusion acumen, with the ability to influence and advance priorities that foster belonging

Saturday through Monday approximately 4:30pm to 6:30am
