Senior Operations Manager

About the role

The Senior Operations Manager will provide strategic and operational leadership across all manufacturing functions, including production, engineering, and R&D. This role is responsible for building and developing a high-performing team, establishing strong operational systems, and driving continuous improvement to ensure efficiency, quality, and scalability.

This leader will help define and achieve key performance objectives while fostering collaboration across departments to support growth. With a holistic view of the business, this role will champion a culture of safety, accountability, and customer focus. The Senior Operations Manager plays a critical role in strengthening the organization's intentional culture, while positioning J-Tech for continued innovation and long-term success.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership across all manufacturing functions, including production, engineering, and R&D.
• Build and develop a high-performing team.
• Establish strong operational systems.
• Drive continuous improvement to ensure efficiency, quality, and scalability.
• Help define and achieve key performance objectives.
• Foster collaboration across departments to support growth.
• Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and customer focus.

Requirements

• A minimum of seven (7) years in manufacturing or related industry, required; within transportation and/or custom manufacturing, a plus.
• Experience of successfully leading teams and overseeing a department/organization.
• Demonstrated business and financial acumen.
• Proficiency with technology, required; with ERP and engineering software (SOLIDWORKS® CAD), preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, essential.
• Demonstrated community involvement, strongly preferred.

Pay

Negotiable based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, with occasional evening and weekend work as needed.
