Senior OpenText Media Management (OTMM) Application Developer

Required Level of Education: Bachelors
Specific Systems Knowledge Required: OpenText Media Management (similar DAMs will not suffice)
Required Experience: 10 years with OpenText Media Management (OTMM)
Required Experience: 10+ Hands on development experience with OpenText Media Management (OTMM) in complex enterprise environments.
Experience using Integration Services to build OTMM integrations
Experience migrating high volumes of digital assets from other repositories into OTMM and onboarding multiple user groups
Proven experience leading major OTMM version upgrades, platform modernization initiatives, and production lifecycle management across complex enterprise environments.
Extensive experience designing and developing OTMM integrations using Integration Services, APIs, and enterprise middleware with platforms such as Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Adobe Creative Cloud, CMS platforms, and downstream content distribution systems.
Demonstrated success migrating large-scale digital asset repositories into OTMM, including metadata mapping, workflow transformation, user onboarding, and governance for multiple business units.
Deep expertise architecting OTMM metadata models, object models, security, workflows, database design, performance optimization, and scalable platform architecture.
Experience serving as the technical authority for OTMM, establishing development standards, conducting architecture reviews, mentoring engineering teams, and driving platform best practices.
Experience collaborating with Product Management, Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure, and business stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable DAM solutions aligned with long-term technology roadmaps.
Position Responsibilities
- Serve as the OTMM technical authority and platform manager, defining platform architecture, design patterns, and development standards.
- Lead and execute OTMM major version upgrades, patching strategies, and infrastructure modernization in partnership with IT and vendors.
- Define OTMM solution architecture including database design, metadata models, object models, workflows, security, and performance considerations.
- Design, build, and oversee complex OTMM configurations, customizations, APIs, and extensions using best practice development patterns.
- Lead and review technical design documentation, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards and long term roadmap.
- Architect and lead integrations between OTMM and enterprise systems such as AEM, Adobe Creative Cloud, CMS platforms, analytics tools, and downstream distribution channels.
