The Senior Professional, OpenText Content Developer will support the creation and delivery of accurate, compliant, and personalized communications for healthcare audiences. This remote role focuses on designing, configuring, and executing dynamic documents using advanced content development platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Compose and configure operational and regulatory communications using approved templates, content standards, and designated platforms.
  • Develop and deploy personalized, dynamic communications using OpenText Communications (Thin Client).
  • Execute communications across multiple channels, including print and digital formats, while maintaining quality, compliance, and delivery timelines.
  • Partner with strategy teams and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective document templates.
  • Manage document composition elements including layouts, style sheets, variables, repeating data tables, and document flow.
  • Apply logical coding concepts such as conditional statements, loops, and data-driven content rules to support dynamic communications.
  • Perform unit testing to validate requirements, ensure accurate data rendering, and identify potential issues before deployment.
  • Troubleshoot implementation challenges, conduct defect analysis, identify root causes, and implement solutions.
  • Maintain documentation, version control, and audit trails for communication builds and updates.
  • Participate in quality assurance reviews and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance communication processes.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for OpenText Communications and promote scalable development practices across teams.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience creating dynamic documents using OpenText Communications.
  • Strong understanding of document composition principles, including templates, formatting, variables, data mapping, and document structures.
  • Experience working with logical coding concepts and rule-based content generation.
  • Knowledge of driver file mapping and variable mapping for document creation and automation.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze defects, identify root causes, and implement effective resolutions.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and track project progress.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in regulated industries such as healthcare, insurance, or financial services is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, information systems, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Smart Communications, CMS Medicare and Medicaid requirements, marketing operations, fulfillment processes, or Agile methodologies is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality work.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
