Senior Officer
About the role
This role is within the Medical Directorate of Public Services Delivery Scotland (PSD Scotland), a newly formed organization combining expertise from NHS Education for Scotland (NES) and NHS National Services Scotland (NSS).
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the administrative team to ensure efficient operation and support for course/resource delivery.
- Support the development and facilitation of training programs for medical practitioners.
- Contribute to the strategic planning and development of the service.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders including clinicians and other teams within PSD Scotland.
Requirements
The role requires a track record of senior administrative support and leadership, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and experience in supporting and developing others. Experience with data management and reporting, and the ability to facilitate training are also essential.
Qualifications
Senior Officers should have a strong background in administration, with a proven ability to lead and manage teams. They should also possess excellent IT skills and experience in online learning and data management.

Pay
The starting salary for this role is £45,000 to £55,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
The role is permanent and full-time, with 36 hours per week.
