SENIOR SECURITY OFFICER

Responsibilities

• Handle high-volume customer interactions with a consistently outgoing, upbeat, and cheerful demeanor.
• Build guest relations by talking with customers, making them feel welcome and comfortable, and inviting them back.
• Provide superior guest service, positively affect interactions with guests and employees, and demonstrate resilience in dealing with difficult guests.
• Aid in transporting money and chips, controlling access to restricted areas, and responding promptly and appropriately to incidents and accidents.
• Write reports, monitor customer and team member passage, check for and report safety hazards, and answer calls promptly and professionally.
• Participate in routine drills as assigned and assist in maintaining a spotlessly clean casino area.
• Assist in maintaining a spotlessly clean casino area by disposing of any items left on the floor by guests.
• Perform other duties as assigned or reasonably requested by any member of management.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Proficient in English verbal and written communication.
• Flexible to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule as required by business operations, including late nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a 1055 gaming license.
• Acquire and maintain CPR/AED certification.
• A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• One to two years experience in security preferred.

Additional Requirements

• Ability to push and pull up to 250 pounds.
• Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds.
• Safely work with provided cleaning chemical and equipment.
• Ascend and descend stairs and maintain equilibrium for an extended period.
• Ability to work from a standing or sitting position and/or walking motion for extended periods.
• Must be able to work in a smoking and pet-friendly environment.
