Senior Next.js Developer

About the role

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Next.js Developer based in the United States. This is a senior frontend engineering role focused on building high-performance, scalable web applications within a fast-moving iGaming environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain modern web applications using Next.js and React, ensuring high performance, scalability, and adherence to coding standards.
• Contribute to technical refinement, architecture discussions, peer reviews, and long-term roadmap planning with engineering leadership.
• Mentor and support fellow developers, helping elevate technical skills, best practices, and overall team performance.
• Provide constructive technical feedback in a collaborative, growth-oriented manner that strengthens team cohesion.
• Maintain close coordination with distributed teams, ensuring transparency on progress, risks, and priorities.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in modern web application development.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Next.js and React.
• Solid understanding of how modern web frameworks and browser-based applications work.
• Experience working within structured software development teams and tool ecosystems.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• A proactive mindset with the ability to take ownership and work effectively in high-responsibility environments.
