About The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Product Development Specialist to join our innovative team at Rough Country. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, testing, and refinement of new automotive accessories and parts. Your expertise will help ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive engineering or product development, coupled with a passion for off-road vehicles and automotive customization. Qualifications

• Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
• Proven experience in product development, testing, or engineering within the automotive industry is highly preferred.
• Strong technical skills, including proficiency with CAD software, testing equipment, and quality control processes, are essential.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and effective communication skills are required to collaborate across teams and ensure project success.
• A passion for off-road vehicles and automotive innovation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire lifecycle of product development projects, from concept to production.
• Conduct market research to identify customer needs and industry trends.
• Design new products and modifications using CAD software.
• Cook up prototype development and testing.
• Work closely with manufacturing, quality assurance, and marketing teams to ensure products meet technical specifications and customer expectations.
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
