Senior Next.JS Developer (Contract)

What does this team do?

The team develops and maintains web applications to help millions of users make better investment decisions. They focus on innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence, using tools like React, Next.js, TypeScript, TailwindCSS, and occasionally Python.

What would you do in this role?

• Develop and maintain web applications using a variety of technologies, including React, Next.js, TypeScript, TailwindCSS, and occasionally Python.
• Collaborate with other team members on best practices for efficient and sustainable engineering, balancing aesthetics, scalability, and performance.
• Provide and receive technical feedback through pair programming and code reviews.
• Collaborate closely with design, product, and leadership teams to anticipate future needs and align the technology roadmap with long-term goals.

What do you need to apply?

• 5+ years of developing highly performant and scalable web applications.
• Proficiency with agentic workflows and AI-driven automation.
• High level of proficiency in React, Next.js, TypeScript, GraphQL, and REST APIs.
• Understanding of backend development using Python.
• Experience with AWS.
• Experience working with sophisticated application state, such as Apollo Client and Redux.
• Experience with Docker, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines for Python applications.
• Proven track record in high-performance teams.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Familiarity with security best practices in web development.

Compensation

Hourly Pay Range: $95 USD - $105 USD
