Senior MRI Technologist - Radiation Oncology

About the role

We are seeking a Senior MRI Advanced Modality Technologist to perform independent MRI procedures, assist in department quality assurance, mentor staff and students, and support radiation oncology services and department initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and equipment for MRI procedures
• Conduct MRI studies independently
• Ensure regulatory compliance and lead safety and quality initiatives
• Mentor staff and students
• Support department improvements and process enhancements

Requirements

• Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)) and/or MR
• Associate's degree or higher
• 2+ years of experience in MRI or related fields (radiology, CT, X-ray)
• MRI licensing preferred

Skills

• Proficiency in MRI procedures and safety protocols
• Experience with quality assurance and process improvement
• Strong mentorship and leadership abilities
• Ability to work independently and lead when needed

Schedule

Day hours with no call or weekend shifts.

Pay

5% advanced modality differential.
