About the role
As a Senior Mixed-Signal IC Design Engineer in ADI’s Advanced Cores Group (ACG), you will work with a highly capable team developing our most advanced converters. ACG is a world leader in high-speed data converters and related technology, with a track record of producing breakthrough innovations such as RF DACs, ADCs, and SerDes PHYs in cutting-edge FinFET processes. Our cores are integrated into products for Automotive, Aerospace and Defense, Communications, and Instrumentation.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a team of designers to implement key circuit blocks within a defined architecture.
- Work with others to understand the impact of block-level trade-offs and make decisions to achieve project-level goals.
- Design challenging transistor-level circuits.
- Develop behavioral models for circuit blocks you design.
- Prepare effective design documents and conduct engaging design reviews.
- Collaborate with layout engineering teams.
- Perform hands-on work in the lab alongside evaluation engineers.
Qualifications
- M.S. or beyond in Electrical Engineering.
- 2+ years’ experience in CMOS design.
- Strong understanding of a wide range of circuits such as wide bandwidth amplifiers and comparators, switched capacitor circuits, precision voltage and current references, LDOs.
- Experience in Cadence schematic capture and SPICE simulation tools.
- Experience with MATLAB for behavioral modeling.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, and ability to work in a large team.

Pay
The expected wage range for this position is $110,385 to $151,808. Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors.
