Senior Mixed-Signal IC Design Engineer

About the role

As a Senior Mixed-Signal IC Design Engineer in ADI’s Advanced Cores Group (ACG), you will join a world-leading team developing high-speed data converters and related technology in cutting-edge FinFET processes. ACG’s converter cores are integrated into products for Automotive, Aerospace and Defense, Communications, and Instrumentation. You will collaborate with a highly capable, geographically diverse team to design key circuit blocks, make architecture-level trade-offs, and bring innovative solutions to market.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a team of designers to implement key circuit blocks within a defined architecture.
• Work with others to understand block-level trade-offs and make decisions to achieve project goals.
• Design challenging transistor-level circuits (wide-bandwidth amplifiers, comparators, switched-capacitor circuits, precision references, LDOs).
• Develop behavioral models for the circuit blocks you design.
• Prepare effective design documents and conduct engaging design reviews.
• Collaborate with layout engineering teams.
• Perform hands-on lab work alongside evaluation engineers.

Requirements

• M.S. or beyond in Electrical Engineering.
• 2+ years’ experience in CMOS design.
• Strong understanding of wide-bandwidth amplifiers, comparators, switched-capacitor circuits, precision voltage/current references, and LDOs.
• Experience with Cadence schematic capture and SPICE simulation tools.
• Experience with MATLAB for behavioral modeling.
• Good written and verbal communication skills; ability to work effectively in a large, geographically diverse team.

Pay

The expected wage range for this position is $110,385 to $151,808. Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, and internal pay equity.

Schedule

Hybrid work model; home and in-office opportunities vary by job function and group. This is a 1st shift/day position with no required travel.
