Senior Military Operations Analyst - Arms Control

About the role
KBR, in support of AF/A10 Strategic Plans and Policy Support Services, conducts guidance, oversight, and advocacy of the Air Force strategic deterrence mission. The analyst will assess how treaty requirements affect basing, alert postures, exercises, and day-to-day operations. They develop and refine procedures, checklists, and training materials for unit-level implementation. The role supports planning and execution of inspections, visits, and treaty-related events, often working directly with Treaty Compliance Officers. The analyst also provides operational input to policy teams on the feasibility and impact of proposed treaty positions.
Responsibilities
- Assess how treaty requirements affect basing, alert postures, exercises, and day-to-day operations.
- Develop and refine procedures, checklists, and training materials for unit-level implementation.
- Support planning and execution of inspections, visits, and treaty-related events.
- Work directly with Treaty Compliance Officers.
- Provide operational input to policy teams on the feasibility and impact of proposed treaty positions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- 8+ years of operational experience in nuclear or other treaty-affected missions.
- Strong understanding of how base-level operations intersect with inspection and compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to write clear procedures, checklists, or training materials.
- Active TS (or higher) clearance and ability to travel.
Qualifications (Desired)
- Prior experience working in a TCO office or MAJCOM treaty office.
- Experience supporting or escorting treaty inspections or verification activities.

- Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 hours
Pay
Basic compensation: $140,000 - $150,000. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity. KBR may offer additional compensation such as bonuses, commissions, sign-on bonuses, relocation benefits, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
