About the Role
The Microsoft Dataverse & Power Apps Developer will collaborate closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, architects, and other technical teams to design, build, enhance, and maintain enterprise-grade solutions within the Microsoft Power Platform. This role requires deep knowledge of Dataverse tables, security, Power Apps (model-driven and canvas apps), Power Automate flows, and enterprise integration patterns. The position is highly hands-on and focused on delivering robust, scalable business applications.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise Power Apps solutions (canvas and model-driven).
- Build and manage Dataverse tables, relationships, business rules, forms, views, APIs, and security roles.
- Develop automated workflows using Power Automate.
- Integrate Power Platform solutions with enterprise applications and data sources, including Azure services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across development, test, and production environments.
- Work closely with business partners to translate requirements into functional solutions.
- Implement best practices around solution architecture, governance, data modeling, and secure-by-design development.
- Maintain documentation for configuration, data models, custom connectors, workflows, and operational support.
- Assist in building monitoring, auditing, logging, and compliance controls in alignment with enterprise policies.
Requirements
- Hands-on Power Apps Development (model-driven and canvas) (5+ years).
- Experience developing solutions using Dataverse, including advanced data modeling and security architecture (5+ years).
- Strong experience with Power Automate for building complex workflows and integrations (5+ years).
- Experience creating and managing custom connectors, APIs, and integrations with Azure Services (5+ years).
- Understanding of Power Platform environments, ALM, solution management, DevOps, and deployment pipelines (5+ years).
- Proficiency with JavaScript, PowerFx, and low-code extensibility patterns (5+ years).
- Must hold Microsoft Power Platform or Dynamics Certification or 5+ years of equivalent experience.
- Preferred certifications: PL-400 Power Platform Developer, PL-600 Power Platform Solution Architect, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and Azure API Management.
- Familiarity with Dynamics 365 CE configuration and extended Dataverse features.
- Experience with enterprise data governance and compliance frameworks (HIPAA, NIST, PCI, etc.).
- Knowledge of Power BI for reporting integrations.
- Understanding of security architecture within Power Platform and Azure AD.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
