Date Posted: 09/09/2026 Hiring Organization: Rose International Position Number: 507208 Industry: Government Job Title: Senior Power Platform Developer - (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse) Job Location: Baton Rouge, LA, USA, 70802 Work Model: Hybrid Work Model Details: Primarily remote, possible occasional onsite needs Shift: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST Employment Type: Temporary FT/PT: Full-Time Estimated Duration (In months): 25 Min Hourly Rate($): 70.00 Max Hourly Rate($): 90.00 Must Have Skills/Attributes: Compliance, D365, Governance, Integration Experience, M365, Power Platform, PowerApps, PowerBI, SQL Experience Desired: Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, on-Prem and Cloud RDBMS, Dataverse (5+ yrs); Strong understanding of ALM, Dev/Test/Prod, security, role-based access control, and SQL Queries (5+ yrs); Experience gathering requirements and translating them into technical designs (5+ yrs); Experience with Copilot Studio or other conversational AI platforms (2+ yrs); Familiarity with Dynamics 365, Azure services, DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines (2+ yrs); Experience in government, public sector, or regulated environments (2+ yrs) Preferred Certifications/Licenses: Microsoft certifications (e.g., Power Platform Developer, Solution Architect) **C2C is not available** Job Description Preferred Certifications: Microsoft certifications (e.g., Power Platform Developer, Solution Architect) Required Skills 5 + years of experience developing solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, on-Prem and Cloud RDBMS, Dataverse, and Power BI 5 + years of demonstrated strong understanding of Application lifecycle management (ALM), Environment strategy with Deployment and Troubleshooting (Dev/Test/Prod), security, and role-based access control, and SQL Queries 5 + years of experience gathering requirements and translating them into technical designs Ability to work independently and across multiple projects in a shared-services environment Preferred Skills Experience with Copilot Studio or other conversational AI platforms Experience in government, public sector, or regulated environments Experience with MS SQL Server Familiarity with Dynamics 365, Azure services (Logic Apps, Functions, API Management, etc.), DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines for Power Platform Job Duties Application Development & Solution Design: Design, build, and maintain Power Platform solutions including: Canvas and Model-driven Power Apps Power Pages Power Automate cloud flows and approvals On-Prem and Cloud Relation Database Management Systems (RDBMS) and Dataverse data models, business rules, and security roles Power BI reports and dashboards Translate business and program requirements into scalable technical solutions Develop reusable components, patterns, and templates aligned with OTS standards Knowledge transfer and train our in-house developers to come up to speed Integration & Architecture: Integrate Power Platform solutions with: Microsoft 365 services Dynamics 365 (where applicable) Azure services and external systems via connectors and APIs Apply best practices for performance, scalability, and maintainability Governance, Security & Compliance: Implement role-based security, data loss prevention (DLP) policies, and environmental strategies Ensure solutions comply with Louisiana OTS standards and applicable federal and state regulations (e.g., security, privacy, accessibility) Support audits, documentation, and technical reviews Collaboration & Leadership: Work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, architects, and other developers Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and citizen developers Participate in solution reviews, code reviews, and architecture discussions Innovation & Emerging Capabilities: Evaluate and pilot new Power Platform features and capabilities Copilot Studio experience (plus) Assist in designing conversational AI solutions and virtual agents Support use cases such as knowledge retrieval, case intake, and internal support automation**Only those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.****Please note that all Position start dates and duration are estimates and may be reduced or lengthened based upon a client’s business needs and requirements.** Benefits For information and details on employment benefits offered with this position, please visit here.
