About the Role

This 12-month contract role involves collaborating with Product Owners, Business Analysts, architects, and other technical teams to design, build, enhance, and maintain enterprise-grade solutions within the Microsoft Power Platform. The developer will focus on hands-on development, integration, automation, data modeling, troubleshooting, and solution optimization.

Hybrid schedule: 2 days per week onsite to start.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise Power Apps solutions (canvas and model-driven).
  • Build and manage Dataverse tables, relationships, business rules, forms, views, APIs, and security roles.
  • Develop automated workflows using Power Automate.
  • Integrate Power Platform solutions with enterprise applications and data sources, including Azure services.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across development, test, and production environments.
  • Work closely with business partners to translate requirements into functional solutions.
  • Implement best practices around solution architecture, governance, data modeling, and secure-by-design development.
  • Maintain documentation for configuration, data models, custom connectors, workflows, and operational support.
  • Assist in building monitoring, auditing, logging, and compliance controls in alignment with enterprise policies.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on Power Apps Development (model-driven and canvas).
  • 5+ years of experience developing solutions using Dataverse, including advanced data modeling and security architecture.
  • Strong experience with Power Automate for building complex workflows and integrations.
  • Experience creating and managing custom connectors, APIs, and integrations with Azure Services.
  • Solid understanding of Power Platform environments, ALM, solution management, DevOps, and deployment pipelines.
  • Proficiency with JavaScript, PowerFx, and low-code extensibility patterns.
  • College degree or equivalent experience.
  • Must hold Microsoft Power Platform or Dynamics Certification or 5+ years of equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and Azure API Management.
  • Familiarity with Dynamics 365 CE configuration and extended Dataverse features.
  • Experience with enterprise data governance and compliance frameworks (HIPAA, NIST, PCI, etc.).
  • Knowledge of Power BI for reporting integrations.
  • Understanding of security architecture within Power Platform and Azure AD.
  • Preferred certifications:
    • PL-400 Power Platform Developer
    • PL-600 Power Platform Solution Architect
    • Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)
