About the Role

The Senior Psychiatric Consult Liaison Clinician serves as a member of the inpatient psychiatric consult liaison (CL) service, demonstrating clinical expertise in the provision of services involving psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning and implementation, and crisis intervention. Plans, directs, and provides professional psychiatric and substance abuse assessment, treatment, and discharge planning using a multidisciplinary approach. Coordinates care planning with team members.

Schedule

• 2 positions open for full time, 1.0 FTE, Day shifts, 40 hours per week.

Pay

• Pay Range: $41.81 - $64.91 per hour (base pay). Additional compensation may be available for shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
• $10,000 Sign-On Bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.
• Relocation Assistance for eligible hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Social Work, or health-related field.
• Upon hire: One of the following Alaska licenses:
  • Masters Social Worker License, or
  • Clinical Social Worker License, or
  • Psychologist License, or
  • Marriage and Family Therapist License, or
  • Professional Counselor License.
• 2 years of clinical experience in behavioral health.
