Position Summary

This position serves as the onsite supervisor in Seattle for the assigned Health Services Clinic, providing day-to-day operational leadership and clinical support. The role supports consistent clinic operations through oversight of onsite staff, coordination with local leadership, and collaboration with vendors and internal customers.

Responsibilities

  • Provide onsite supervision of clinic staff and daily workflow to ensure efficient operations during assigned shift.
  • Cookordination clinic operations with local leadership, Safety, Operations, vendors, and internal customers to ensure consistent service delivery.
  • Maintain regular communication with the Regional Manager regarding clinic activity, staffing, operational issues, and onsite conditions.
  • Manage employee schedules, shift coverage, and task prioritization to support operational continuity.
  • Oversee clinic supply ordering and inventory management to ensure adequate stock and operational readiness.
  • Maintain clinic cleanliness, organization, and equipment readiness to ensure a professional clinical environment.
  • Provide first aid assessment, treatment, and documentation for injuries and illnesses, including vital signs, wound care, emergency evaluation, and follow-up.
  • Respond to medical emergencies including CPR/AED response, coordination with Safety, and escalation to EMS when needed.
  • Complete injury intake documentation, maintain encounter logs, and support incident investigations in collaboration with Safety and Operations.
  • Maintain employee medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct drug and alcohol testing (pre-hire, random, post-incident, and reasonable suspicion/reasonable cause) in accordance with policy.
  • (Training Provided) Conduct baseline and annual audiograms and maintain required records under the hearing conservation program.
  • (Training Provided) Perform respirator medical clearance evaluations and fit testing in accordance with program requirements.
  • Support Workers’ Compensation case documentation and reporting in coordination with the Workers’ Compensation Manager.

Job Scope

This role operates within general guidelines and requires sound judgment and independent decision-making. The incumbent may influence and recommend changes to existing protocols and processes.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position supervises full-time employees, per diem staff and/or vendors who provide coverage during absences or illness.

Interpersonal Contacts

Collaborates with craft/hourly employees, operations and administrative staff, Safety, and Human Resources across the organization.
