About the role

Design and develop mechanical systems for packaging machinery, including frames, filling, sealing, and capping equipment.

Create and modify 3D CAD models and assemblies using Inventor or similar CAD software.

Apply DFM/DFA principles to improve manufacturability and assembly efficiency.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, electrical, and controls engineers.

Support prototyping, testing, troubleshooting, and continuous product improvement.

Ensure designs meet sanitary and hygienic standards (3-A, USDA) for food-grade equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Strong proficiency in 3D CAD software, preferably Autodesk Inventor.
  • Proven experience with machine design, pneumatics, and automated systems.
  • Knowledge of materials, machining, sheet metal fabrication, and mechanical tolerances.
  • Hands-on expertise in testing, prototyping, and troubleshooting mechanical systems.

Qualifications
